Chemical Engineering Program

Program Overview

The curriculum combines mathematical and scientific foundations with core chemical engineering subjects and
professional design/project work. Required major courses cover material and energy balances, fluid mechanics,
thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, unit operations, reaction engineering, process equipment and plant
design, process dynamics and control, safety, environmental technology, computer applications, research
projects, and a plant design project.
